For those of us from down state that are used to more well rounded and robust flavors in Chinese food this is the best place in the Albany area. Person I spoke with on the phone was very friendly, delivery came slightly early, and every dish I had was perfect. Steamed pork dumpling filling was awesome, best dumping sauce I've tried up here, best wonton soup BY FAR, and above average chicken lo mein. Sad to have found them after so long of living here but they'll be my go to from now on.

No better place than Amazing Wok for Chinese lunch specials in the Lark Street area. Always fresh and tasty and the best Crab Rangoons ever.

Kind staff always and great Chinese food. My favorite chinese spot bc it's clean and quick - so sad I'm leaving the area, I wish I could bring them with me. This place and Rain (a higher-end chinese/cantonese spot next door) are the only good chinese food spots I recommend in the capitol area. Make sure to make it for their lunch specials!!!

This is really it!! if you know the taste of Real greezzzzy spoon chinese food this is it!! I ate at over 10 different restaurants none was able to achieve the most simplest order of them all 4 chicken wings and pork friend rice... There rice is the real pork fried rice . Not that shit these other people selling and the chicken is of quality....... You will not be upset.

Got delivery at Holiday Inn- menu was extensive! Food came HOT and within the time they stated! Highly recommend! Portions are enuf to share!

Moving from Jamaica, Queens to Albany was SO hard, because I could not for the life of me find any good Chinese food places here. I tried place after place and I FINALLY found Amazing Wok. Their chicken wings are juicy but fried hard like they do downstate. Good pork fried rice. Amazing pork dumplings, I have to get them every time. Their fried baby shrimp is really good. General tso's shrimp and chicken are also wonderful. Their brown sauce that comes with their chicken and broccoli is thicker than I'm used to but it is still delicious. I also tried the bbq boneless ribs, you can't go wrong ordering those. This is the only place we go to for Chinese food. Every other place in Albany just makes me miss good Queens Chinese food. My partner and I have gotten food from Amazing wok almost every week for the past 6 months and we have have nothing bad to say about this place. Also: they've been taking Covid-19 very seriously! The precautions they take are very visible. You can't dine in, or even enter the store right now but no worries, the food is ready very fast and they sanitize well before and after every customer! As an immune compromised person I really appreciate how serious they are taking this virus

I've been ordering take out once every 4 - 6 weeks since arriving to New York State a little over three years ago (if I order it at all). It's been way fewer than 6 weeks - I'd even say less than a month - and I've ordered from these guys 5 - 7 times. Honestly, I think there was one seven-day period in which I ordered twice. Seriously. I feel like Pookie from New Jack City with this stuff. I'm staying in this weekend to try out some recipes. If I can't get it right, I don't know what i'm gonna do. That's why I'm writing this. I need to make it public that the flavors are so "there" that you might lose control*. #MindBlown *I had "will lose control". But I don't want to scare you. Try it. Just once, just a little.
